Bibliometric analysis of publications by South African viticulture and oenology research centres

We analysed the production, impact factor of, and scientific collaboration involved in viticulture and oenology articles associated with South African research centres published in international journals during the period 1990–2009. The articles under scrutiny were obtained from the Science Citation Index database, accessed via the Web of Knowledge platform. The search strategy employed specific viticulture and oenology terms and was restricted to the field ‘topic’. Then, we share our experience in designing and prototyping a HW/SW vision based smart embedded system as an ADAS that helps to increase the safety of car's drivers. We present a physical prototype of the vision ADAS based on a Zynq FPGA. The system detects the fatigue state of the driver by monitoring the eyes closure and generates a real-time alert. The influence of friendship and communication network density on individual innovative behaviours: a multilevel study

The present study examines whether teams’ friendship and communication network density are related to individual innovative behaviours (IIBs: idea generation, suggestion making, idea promotion and idea implementation). The study sample was composed of 28 teams comprising 101 members. The results obtained by means of multilevel structural equations modelling showed that friendship network density had an indirect positive relationship with the four IIBs through the density of team communication networks.
